Fuel Pumps are considered a weights & measures device. In the state of Texas, that means they must be registered with the Dept. of Agriculture on an annual basis. Pump Calibration can help make sure your dispensers will get the seal of approval!
One your dispensers are registered and licensed, the documentation is valid for one year before you must apply for a new weights & measures license. Fuel Pumps must also have a Consumer Information Sticker from the Texas Department of Agriculture affixed. The gas station owner is responsible for making sure these stickers remain in place.
